Ingredients

  • Fish
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 50g garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Mami Tiè Fish marinade
  • 1teaspoon Mami Tiè white pepper
  • 1 onion
  • Leek white
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Oil

Preparation of Braised Fish

Peel the garlic, onion and leek white. Finely crush all the ingredients until you get a homogeneous dough. Add the lemon juice and oil and the remaining ground ingredients, mix with the mustard or blender. Add oil to facilitate mixing. Add the lemon juice and 2 to 3 tablespoons of oil. Spread, empty and trim your fish. Make cuts every 2 to 3 centimetres in the skin of the fish. Salt the fish and brush it with marinade. Set aside some marinade for the sauce. Make sure to season with salt and pepper. Let your spicy fish rest for about 20 minutes. Cook the fish according to your means on the barbecue or in the oven grill function. Add a little water to the remaining marinade, salt and cook for about 5 minutes over low heat. Serve with plantain fries or cassava sticks.
